We’re working with our partners to help local governments, non-profits, school districts, houses of worship, tribes and others access the funds they’ve earned, or will earn, by investing in clean energy. By using Direct Pay, tax-exempt entities can get reimbursed for a portion of their investments in technologies like solar power, geothermal, battery storage, electric vehicles, and EV chargers.
Direct Pay tax benefits have been around for years, but federal legislation made it possible for non-profit entities to access these resources for the very first time. That means hundreds of newly eligible entities, many that are unaware they can access clean energy tax credits for their projects.
Our training sessions can help walk folks through the entire process, break down the more complex components, and hopefully make Direct Pay seem more accessible. Clean energy investment is the right thing to do anyway, and with the availability of green loans and philanthropic funds to help support many Direct Pay projects, there has never been a better time to save money and make positive change.
